Cat Morley (the girl is a friggin genius...) over at cut out + keep has come up with these fabulous little bags. They would make great gifts for your friends. Get started now and by Christmas, you will be laughing at the rest of us who always wait till the last minute. Honestly....these are great. I LOVE the Marilyn one. Love it.

These pretty coasters can be found over at Sew,Mama, Sew!! She even gives you a free pattern and instructions on making them. What a great way to use up your scraps. They would make a great swap gift too!

This is the sweetest little mouse!! He is a pin cushion, but I don't think I could bring myself to jab the cutie with a pin. I am thinking of making him for some friends I work with, and perching him on top of their staplers or 3 hole punches. A bonus here is the blog that I found him on. Good reading. I love blogs, don't you? Too bad I have to work....

What a sweet needle case! And the pattern is free from Cinderberry Stitches. Just found her blog this morning, and I am so glad I did!

This cute sewing kit in a jar would make a great last minute gift. Martha does it again. I wonder, do you think she comes up with all of these ideas on her own, or does she have a team of thinkers?

Check out this pretty pillowcase tote by Creative Kismet. What a brilliant idea! You can pick up pillowcase often just for change at thrift stores and goodwill shops. I grabbed 6 at my local shop for 50 cents each just today. Off to get sewing....

Here is a wonderful link on drawing doll faces. I can always use some help in that category. I save the face until the last. I am always afraid I will screw it up.

Making an altered coffee filter book isn't as hard to do as I thought. This tutorial from EweNmePrintables shows you how!
