I must be in a pondering mood this morning. Lots of thoughts running thru my head today. Our oldest son took the family to El Jalepeno's to eat last night. Of course one and only grandson was in tow. He behaved very well. The only problem that arose was he felt like he needed to share Meme's tea and not drink his milk. No big deal. At one point he threw his head back and laughed very loudly. His laugh is wonderful. Totally contagious. It is music to my ears. I love to hear a happy child. The table of 9 diners next to us though were obviously NOT amused. They all spun their heads in our direction and gave looks that should have made us all drop dead in our seats. Why? He wasnt hurting anyone. He wasn't throwing a fit. He was laughing. Made me feel like I should apologize for bringing a 2 year old into a family restaurant. Why are people so grumpy? Why can't they smile and enjoy the little things in life like a child's laughter? Shaking head here.....
